# Your brain with Claude Code, in eight short lessons.

Claude basics said what Claude Code is, and instibrain basics what it reads. These lessons run the two together: your first session, a question, a page, the files, the history, a second window, an operation, and the checks that keep the brain clean.

Lesson 1: Your first session → instibrain basics comes first

You need instibrain installed, Claude signed in, and at least one space beside Personal.

## Eight lessons, from the first session to a clean brain.

The first five are the daily loop: start, ask, write, the files, the history. The last three widen it: a second window, a longer task, and the checks that keep the pages true.

- 1Your first session Claude asks who you are, writes it down, sets the computer up, and from then on starts every session from your pages.
- 2Ask your brain Two or three words find the page; Claude reads it whole and names it, with how far its text may travel.
- 3Write a page together The folder map first, then the page where its kind lives, with its index line; a proposal where you only read.
- 4The folder on your computer Every space is a folder of plain files; the watch keeps it in step, and a conflict comes as a copy beside your file.
- 5Every change kept Each version names its writer; what a space keeps and for how long, and how a page comes back.
- 6Two windows, one room A second window hears its rooms with nobody typing into it, and answers from the brain in 36 seconds.
- 7An operation A task with an end goal, days to weeks: its brief, its window, its room, and its close.
- 8Keep the brain clean The curator's checks: every page indexed, every link resolving, one place per fact, and the sweep.

## Eight things to type, for the first week.

Each line is a lesson. Say it to Claude in your own words when you like.

| To | Type |
| See what a session starts from | `Which pages did you read before my first word, in order?` |
| Find a page and its label | `Where do we keep what we know about <thing>? Name the page, its space, and its label.` |
| Add a page where it belongs | `Add a page about <thing> where it belongs. Show me the folder and the index line first.` |
| Check a file you edited by hand | `Read that page again from the brain. What did I change?` |
| See who changed what | `What changed in <space> this week, and who changed each page?` |
| Open a second window | `open <specialist> terminal` |
| Start a longer task | `Start an operation: <goal>, due <date>. Write its brief.` |
| Check a space | `Run the structure check on <space>. What is wrong and what is missing?` |
