The method is shared. The facts stay in each space.

Legal holds the steps and the voice; what a client space knows for it stays in that space. It reads only the spaces of the person who runs it.

A reader uses it; an editor improves it. Before anyone new reads it, its manager sees every page with the guard's findings. Its pages are open: our server reads them.

Claude Code subagents, shared by a team.

Is a specialist a Claude Code subagent?
Yes. On each computer it is ~/.claude/agents/<name>.md, which reads its hub first, then knowledge/<name>/ in each of your spaces.
How is it different from a Claude Code skill?
A specialist syncs. Change its method once in the brain, and the subagent on every teammate's computer runs the new one.
Who can change a specialist?
Its editors and managers. A reader's copy is read-only, and the brain's text wins over a change made there.
How is a specialist shared?
Its manager shares it with people, groups, or agents, after a review of each page and its description with the guard's findings.
How many pages can a specialist hold?
Fifty. The facts belong in the spaces, in knowledge/<name>/, so the method stays short.
Can a folder I already have become one?
Yes: instibrain specialist adopt turns a folder of a space into a specialist. A sealed space's folder cannot, since a specialist's pages are open.
