Learn the basics, one screen at a time.

Two short tutorials for your first day with instibrain: Claude basics, then instibrain basics. A lesson is one idea, one picture, and one thing to try.

Written for someone who never used a terminal. Every word is explained where it first appears.

the two tutorials

Read both before your first real work.

Claude basics first: it explains the AI that does the work. instibrain basics then shows what that AI reads, and where what you learn goes. Each links the other.

Your browser keeps your place on this computer, and nothing leaves it.

what you need

A computer with instibrain on it, and this page beside it.

The installer puts the instibrain button on your desktop, and Claude Code asks you to sign in the first time it opens. Get started walks through both.

Keep this page on one side and Claude on the other, and type as you read. A lesson takes a few minutes, and your browser remembers where you stopped.

how a lesson works

Every lesson has the same six parts.

Short sentences, plain words, and a new word explained where it first appears. Names such as the Content specialist or a Marketing space are examples, and the page says so.

The idea

One line. If you remember nothing else, remember this one.

New words

Each term the lesson uses, defined before it is used.

The lesson

A few short paragraphs, and a table where there is something to compare.

The picture

A drawing of the idea: a terminal, a window, or boxes and arrows.

Try it

What to type, word for word, in your own Claude window.

You should see

What a right answer looks like, so you know the step worked.
