Specialists.

A specialist is one job, done by the AI you use. It knows how to do the job and which pages to read first.

new words

Your AI
The AI that works as you, with tools: Claude Code or Codex on your computer, or Claude on the web and your phone.
Persona
Who the specialist is: its role and how it thinks.
Method
The steps it follows.

the lesson

A specialist has a persona and a method. It sits beside your spaces, in ~/instibrain/specialists/.

What your company knows for it sits in your spaces, in a folder with its name. A Content specialist reads knowledge/content/ in every space you read. It reads nothing outside your spaces.

Your company shares with you the specialists your work needs. Beside them, every brain has instibrain's own staff, three helpers:

StaffIts job
insticuratorKeeps the pages clean
instiguardChecks that each page sits where the right people read it
instibuilderSets up your computer

Name the specialist in your task. Claude gives the task to it and brings back its answer. For long work, open its own window, as lesson 4 shows.

The Content specialist is an example. Its method comes from the specialists folder; its facts come from your spaces.
